  • SAN DIEGO 🇺🇸 Before coming to San Diego, I thought I’ll probably rebook my flight and don’t stay as long as I planned. But when I arrived I quickly noticed that my time in SD was way to short scheduled. I stayed 6 nights in Pacific Beach and from minute 1 I loved it! I’m for sure coming back!!🫶🏽 If you make you’re way to San Diego - stay in Pacific Beach or Ocean Beach. I’m very happy that I got the tip to stay there instead of downtown because I would have hated staying in downtown. It’s a completely different vibe - so do yourself a favor and stay in PB or OB.🙃 You can fly directly into San Diego or, like me, fly to Tijuana (🇲🇽) & cross the boarder. If you cross the boarder, the fastest and most convenient way is to book the Cross-Boarder-Pass for ~20$. With it you can cross the boarder directly within the airport of Tijuana. I know it's hard to trust when so much is unknown, but instead of trying to make sense of it all at once, take it day by day. You don't have to take it all in at once.   • LA, you surely aren’t my fav and I probably won’t return but I still had 2,5 fun days!🇺🇸🌞 If you’re planning to visit LA, I wouldn’t plan too much time and rather spend more time exploring the beach towns of California.🌊⛱️ 🏠WHERE TO STAY If you’re looking for a nice area to stay, I would recommend Venice Beach or Santa Monica, since I’ve liked it there the most. I’ve only spent time there, in Hollywood and drove through downtown but from this small insight, I’ve wouldn’t have wanted to stay somewhere else.🌝 🥐 WHERE TO EAT I didn’t try that many restaurants but from the ones I’ve tried, I can recommend the following two: 🌯 Great White: I love their falafel burrito! 🫐 Good & Healthy Food can be found in The Buther’s Daugther. 🛹 WHAT TO DO There are many outdoor activities - if the weather lets you 🤪 Surf, Skate, beach walks, watch the sunset at the Santa Monica Pier, visit the famous ‘Walk of Fame’ & the Hollywood Sign, explore different districts of LA or take a walk along the Venice Canals. 🚕HOW TO GET AROUND Best would be to have your own car or a rental car. If that’s not an option for you, the following options are for you: 1. Uber / Lyft: I found that Lyft was a little cheaper. 2. Public transport: They suck!! But they’re cheap and take you around. Make sure to have enough cash because you won’t get change from the bus driver. 3. Turo: With this App you can rent a car from private people for one or multiple days. Make sure to register a couple of days before needing the car because it might take time to get approved! HAVE YOU BEEN TO LA? If so, what were your impressions?
